"And how are your boys doing? Jealous of being spurned a vacation I bet."
Merrill turned sharply toward the human, tilting her head questioningly. "Do I have boys? Who? When did I get them? I thought I would have noticed."
"The sad glowing ones.” Aveline crossed her arms and leaned her back against the bookshelf. “Honestly I'm surprised they're not here to see us off."
Merrill blinked at her owlishly, then blushed and turned to look at the books. "Ah, Oh no, Anders and Fenris are not, um." She stopped and looked about, trying to find the words. "They are Hawke's boys. And Isabela's boys, kind of; if they are anyone's boys, or their own boys I suppose? And each other's boy, also? Hmm."
