You're on your way to work when suddenly, at the blink of an eye, you're standing in front of the imposing entrance of Mirkwood with no idea how you got there or how you'll get back.
The situation takes a turn for the worse when you're found by the elves of Mirkwood and brought to the Elvenking. The King of the Woodland Realm takes a fancy to you, and all of the sudden, finding your way back home is the least of your problems. First you must escape the watchful eye of your captor without letting your growing attraction and feelings towards the Elvenking get in the way.

‘A modern girl falls asleep while creating her perfect smutty daydream about herself and Thranduil, and wakes up to living it. Includes the quest starting at Beorn’s, Modern-Girl is Smaug’s daughter and a shapeshifter, includes Kili/Tauriel and Thorin/Bilbo and smut.’Not just sex, I'm just bad at writing summaries. This is a very self-insert fix-it fic with lots of funny, sad, and romantic moments too. Give it a try!
