Summary
Two boys, both alike in dignity--by which I mean they have none. Harley is lying to his family about why he hasn't come home in years. Peter is lying to everyone about pretty much everything. Together they can make everything worse by lying together (heh) in Rose Hill while Harley pretends to his family that Peter is his long-term boyfriend and Peter pretends that he hasn't had a crush on Harley since the day he met him--or no. He DOES pretend he has a crush-- Wait, no he doesn't pretend because he HAS a crush so he pretends to pretend that he--
It's complicated.

Summary
And then, Harley adds, “There’s a catch.”
Peter’s heart sinks a little at the words. Of course there is. “What is it?” he asks, even though he really doesn’t want to know.
Harley hesitates, before telling him, “If we succeed at bringing them back, we’d never be able to see them again.”
Everything in Peter’s brain comes to a screeching halt.
aka, when Harley Keener suddenly reappears in Peter’s life, claiming he has a way to get Tony back, Peter dives headlong into Harley’s dangerous, desperate plan — even if it means sacrificing the one thing Peter longed for more than anything else.

Summary
Peter’s apartment smells like dust and soy sauce and webfluid. It’s got the same terrible green backsplash tiles in the kitchen and the same crowded, clumsy bookcases that Johnny has always tended to organize for fun. The same sneakers sit by the door: black Nikes meant for skateboarding that Peter’s had since they were teenagers, now so well-worn that the soles are duct-taped to the sides. The same brown denim jacket hangs on the hook; coffee mug succulent sits in the window; black stain sprays up and out of a socket from that tiny electrical fire they’d set when they were high and rewiring Peter’s funky lava lamp while it was still plugged in.
It takes a weight off Johnny’s shoulders, being submerged in it: here is another thing that hasn’t changed. Peter is, at his core, the same.
He crosses to Peter’s deep, corduroy couch and tosses himself onto it.
Peter stands in front of Johnny, hovering in that white and black suit, mask now balled in his hand. His eyes are wide and his jaw is tight.
“You look like you’ve seen a ghost,” is what Johnny says.

Summary
There's a healing bullet wound on Peter's right thigh, one that makes him put more focus than he'd like into not limping despite the ache that comes with every step. One of the sweatshirts he snagged from Mr. Stark back when he was fifteen is pulled over his shoulders, hair visibly disheveled where it peeks out from the hood covering his head, hands shoved deep into his pockets as he waits in line. Realistically, his budget is too tight to fit a five dollar coffee from a corner café in Manhattan, but after the week he's had, he thinks he might not survive without getting pumped full of caffeine, so he ignores the part of him that says to tuck his wallet away and leave, instead stepping forward, fighting a wince when his injured leg is shifted and forced to hold his weight, and looking up when it's his turn to order.
On the other side of the counter, blue eyes and blond curls greet him, curious as they take him in, with a name tag pinned to the front of his apron that says Harley. There's also something instantly intriguing about him that Peter can't quite place.
