Robin Bates agreed to a camping trip with her sister in North Wales, and now she's stumbled into Middle Earth, about two feet shorter and feeling very out of her depth (all she wanted was a nature pee!). Thank God her dead dad loved Tolkien and taught her every nerdy thing she knows, otherwise she would be totally effed, right?
Not only is she sharing a house with the three Dwarves she wants to save from a shitty death, but she's having a tough time figuring out how to not come across as standoffish, secretive, and totally weird. Now...how to get everyone to trust her enough to let her go on this dragon-slaying, kingdom-reclaiming, super-duper secret, destined to end in sorrow quest. Let's see, huh?

Takes place just under a year before the actual quest to reclaim Erebor, and will eventually cover the Hobbit films (with some book stuff thrown in!).

Summary
*Indefinite Hiatus* I lost interest in the Fandom and can't get the spark back to complete it. Maybe one day*
Someone from our world pulled into Middle Earth is a theme that is done a great deal, but rarely done in a realistic way. A lot of things are rarely flushed out: why would such a thing happen? How? What would it truly be like for someone who is a real fan of Tolkien and has so much knowledge of that world to sudden be tossed into that world? What kind of struggles would they face? What would it be like to meet these storybook characters whose fates you know when they are flesh and blood people? What would it be like to carry such a weight? These are things I often think about & lead me to writing down what I thought it may be like.
"To Tumble Into Middle Earth", is an exploration of those thoughts and follow the OFC Helen, a fan of Tolkien, who finds herself faced with the impossible. She must figure out what to do now that she stands before these people she thought were fairy tales. Will she use her knowledge of Middle Earth or will the burden of knowing break her?
Eventual romance. Some Angst. Language Barrier(for a time). Valar meddling. Gandalf is amused.

Fifty years after the Battle of Azanulbizar, Frerin lives as a slave in a compound of Men. When a Hobbit Fauntling by the name of Bilba is unceremoniously dropped into his life, Frerin does everything he can to do right by his wee one. And if that means eventually being freed and returning to Ered Luin, well, at least his little one will be safe.
Or, how Frerin gains a Wee One, how Fili gets engaged over sweets, and how Bilba is a master frog hunter.
