No, seriously, you need to read part one
While the Valar were figuring out how to read a calendar, Freya did the math. She got to review the homework before taking the test this time, which was nice, but that made the most likely endgame obvious. She knew from the second she offered to do it that reverse fetch-questing an evil ring was going to be rough. She was trying anyway. Because she was very, very stupid.
She expected to pay a high price for the chance to stay.
She didn’t expect there to be an extra cost at the end.
Or for them to both pay it.

So anyways yeah ignore that- basically some 15 year old hermit is really lost. Like astronomically lost. Like can’t find her way back to her own world lost.
What if the first of the Edain was discovered before the year 310 of the first age? Scraping by an existence in a treehouse in the mountains? And is very much unwilling to leave said treehouse?
Long story short- shit hits the fan INCREDIBLY quickly and poor Sonja is thrust into a world of utmost peril and grievance that she did not sign up for.
How long will she last in this land of darkness and destruction before some real sad shit happens?

Bilbo: dies, time-travels, becomes Mandos’ favorite, pranks half of Rivendell, turns pirate, saves the Nazgûl, and learns combat from Glorfindel.

He sets out to save the line of Durin and to prevent the ring from ever going to Frodo...but the Ring of Power has a will of its own, and its power is not one to be lightly thrown aside.

Another Battle of Five Armies fix-it, because we can never have too many stories where there is more to their story than death and grief. Though in this case, there is still some lingering grief. This timeline will be a mash-up of the book and movies, along with some lore and events from the later trilogy (LOTR), and assorted other Tolkien lore taken from various essays, works, and one very entertaining interview between Richard Armitage (Thorin) and Martin Freeman (Bilbo). Anyway, hope you all enjoy! -

Summary
After the Battle of the Five Armies, Bilbo returns to Bag End, trying to convince himself that is best - for him and the dwarrow.
What he does not know, however, is that two certain Valar had kept an eye on both him and Thorin ever since they met each other in Bilbo's smial.
And what he doesn't know either, is that while Valar can be rather patient beings, their patience is brought to an end when year by year goes by, until Bilbo has been back 'home' for a whole decade. Which is why, for the first time in ages, the 'no-intervention-policy' is thrown out of the window.***

The Dagor Dagorath ended. Morgoth was dead.
The Valar need to move on and reweave the world, but they can't take those that have been Marred into the new world. And so, some of the elves and men and dwarves are left behind in Arda Marred.
Nolofinwe wakes up on the day the Sun was supposed to rise in Tirion with the feeling that something is very, very wrong. He doesn't know what it is, but with his brother's help, perhaps they can unravel the tangled threads that are plaguing this new world of theirs.

When Mahal himself offers to send Thorin back to the start of the quest to save the line of Durin, he is determined to make amends for all of the mistakes he made the first time around.
When Bilbo wakes up in Bag End eighty years in the past, all he knows is that he has somehow been given the chance to see his beloved dwarves again and he'll be damned if he doesn't take it.
Both dwarf and hobbit are desperate to prevent the quest from ending in tragedy, but neither will be able to do it on their own. They'll need to work together if they want to keep the entire Company alive and whole --but first they need to realize that they are not alone in their efforts, and they have to stop getting in each other's way at every turn they make.
Hopefully, they'll learn some things this time that they failed to learn before. And maybe, just maybe, they'll find their happy ending that both have been yearning for.
