AH-AU. Kol's broke (he scammed his trust executor, but don't ask, okay?). Klaus will murder Kol inside a week if they're forced to live together. Caroline had a spare bedroom (now that Stefan's moved in with Rebekah) and Rebekah knows Caroline's weaknesses.
