It should be impossible for a ghost to flush so red, Xie Lian thinks. But Hua Cheng has always defied all laws of possibility.
“I just mean— Here. You shouldn’t say that stuff here.”
“Because?”
“Because,” Hua Cheng says, hands twitching in his lap, “it makes me want to fuck you.”
The admission summons a satisfied grin to Xie Lian’s lips. “I am your husband,” he says. “Are you not allowed to fuck me?”
Xie Lian really likes it when Hua Cheng acts like the king that he is.

Summary

He wondered what he might do when Hua Cheng returned, imagined the puff of ghost breath on his bare skin, the cold fingers of the Ghost King skating down his limbs, and he shook under the weight of his imaginings, and each day he was filled with fresh tides of longing.
And now Hua Cheng had returned, and he felt butterflies rise in his stomach to choke his throat.

Summary
Hua Cheng seems take mercy on him, ending his tease after just a few pleas but Xie Lian doesn't know if he should be grateful or grieve the slow hands that move on his skin with dexterity, holding him on the edge with trembling limbs and broken thoughts. Anything his lover does to him is simply out of this world, hypnotic and addicting, he can't refuse anything, he can only take and take and take until it's his turn to give back.
And Hua Cheng plans to give it all to him.
