Summary
Will Byers was enjoying his new life of an early 20-something in New York City when he gets a phone call from Mike Wheeler, drunk and crying, begging him to come to his wedding.
Now, Will is dragged back into the hectic windstorm of a life he swore he left behind six years ago, which gets even more hectic when the wedding is suddenly canceled. He has to decide whether to leave his past behind him, or attempt to rebuild what he used to have with Mike.
Whatever that was.
OR: It's 1995, Will goes back to Hawkins for Mike and El's wedding, and realizes he isn't the only one who's severely dysfunctional and hiding a secret.

Summary
Steve Harrington was doing good despite everything.
Eddie Munson, radio host and Spider-Man fanatic, won't stop harassing Steve, who spends his days writing hate columns about his own alter ego.
His biggest regret was probably finally giving in and talking to him, but they have a rhythm - Steve gets to rant to Eddie about Spider-Man and Eddie collects all the dirt and talks about it on his show. They both get publicity - a bastardized collaboration no one thought they needed but everyone seemed to love.
Deadpool, the friendly neighborhood mercenary, doesn't make Steve's life any easier, especially when they both get roped into remnants of the Weapon X operation.

He doesn’t want to dwell on why he’s telling Deadpool of all people. Surely it has nothing to do with his desperate lack of friends. MJ is in California chasing her dreams, Harry’s undergoing treatment for his mental health and isn’t allowed visitors (not that it matters since they blacklisted Peter after last time), and Gwen… Well.
And it’s not like he can talk to Aunt May without her worrying about him starving to death under a bridge or something so… Deadpool it is. Man, when did his life get this pathetic?

When Steve’s parents hear from a nosy neighbor that they spotted Steve kissing a boy goodbye on the front porch one morning, his father sends him away to work on the ranch, hoping to make him a 'real man.' Eddie remembers Steve from freshman year at Hawkins high—before Eddie moved to live with his uncle—and he kind of enjoys watching Steve struggle with the transition to ranch life. Steve is furious about his parents sending him off like a child, and is worried about how his dad will deal with him when he gets back. He's also intrigued by the dark haired boy showing him the ropes on the ranch.

“Almost there!” Steve yells.
He’s a few yards ahead of them, still lighting up the path and pushing low hanging branches out of the way.
“He’s a good guy, you know,” Robin says as if she can sense his hesitance. “I know what he was like in high school, but he’s different now.”
“Sure.” Eddie doesn’t know what else to say.
“Surprisingly progressive.” Robin lowers her voice so Steve can’t hear her. “Really accepting of a lot of things.”
Eddie frowns. He can’t see Robin’s expression in the dark, but he sure wishes he could.
Eddie opens up to Robin and Steve after the dust of their latest misadventure in the Upside Down has settled. Him and Robin get on like a house on fire and Steve proves to be surprisingly understanding of his ever growing anxiety. Part of him still can’t believe he was so wrong about Steve. Hell, he’s even completely cool with the fact that Robin’s a lesbian.
Now he just has to keep his own stupid feelings in check. Because as flirty as Steve may seem, he is definitely straight. One hundred percent.
Or; Eddie is oblivious, Steve is definitely flirting and Robin is losing her mind.
