A mop of curly hair popped up from behind the crates. Max felt his heart do a somersault. Ordinarily it only did that when he had found something incredible buried in the Earth. He couldn’t recall a time another person had elicited that reaction.

Chaos, that was a good word to describe Max Verstappen's life, with his two cats Jimmy and Sassy, there was not a single boring day. Though at times his fathers harsh words would get to him, his anonymous penpal, HoneyBadger_3, would always manage to twinkle in his dark nights like stars. Being a writer brought purpose in Max’s life, but when moving into a new apartment complex, who knew the one he loves writing to lives in the apartment under his?
