Summary
A loud grunt meets Mo Ran’s ears.
He rolls over to see what he just kicked and his heart drops as absolute terror fills his chest. Mo Ran flings himself backwards off the bed. Pulling the black and gold robe he’s wearing over himself, he pushes himself backwards across the floor until he hits the far wall.
Laying in the bed directly next to where he woke up is the long, naked back of an unknown person. Bruises and still bleeding scratches scatter across their spine, barely showing through inky black hair pooling on the sheets where Mo Ran was laying not a moment before.

In a world with no long hatred flower, Mo Ran dies trying to save his shizun. He then wakes up in bed with a strange man and a Sisheng Peak he doesn't recognize. Worse, the strange man is Chu Wanning, who hates him so much he won't even look at him. Mo Ran is scared and alone in a world so terrible that he couldn't have imagined it.
