“It’s okay Omega.” Hunter responded, gently loosening her grip to lay the items back in the storage rack. He knew why she was upset, she had every reason to be upset. Everything had been taken from her, her freedom, her rights, even her time, now glaringly obvious in the growth spurt and hair length she returned with. Post ATWOW Jake & Lo’ak healing. Even though Jake is ready to be a good dad again, he’s got a lot to reconcile with his son. Neytiri and Jake are in full caring parent mode but they still haven’t really connected with Lo’ak- who is in a deep depression after his brother’s death and very confused. Angst ensues.

“Lo'ak saved my life in more ways than one down there Neytiri.” He finished, his voice cracking when he spoke his mate’s name.
Neytiri dropped to her knees in front of him. Her hands reached to grasp the sides of his face, lightly shaking him as tears spilled down her cheeks.
“You skawng” She hissed, voice hoarse, bringing her forehead to his and dropping her hands to pet along his neck and shoulders, she pulled him tight to her as he dropped his head to the crook of her neck, his tears wet against her skin.
“You may never think like that again Jake,” She whispered urgently, squeezing him tightly the emphasize her point. “Never”

What if the Sully family wasn't quite done growing even after the addition of Spider? Takes place after ATWOW and considers what the family in mourning would look like, and how Jake and Neytiri could potentially come to expect another child.
"Despite the emotional demands of heartbreak, the pace of life is ceaseless. It never slows, even for the deepest of sorrows and soon there were other routines to remember. Some were familiar - Tuktirey's 8th birthday, the natural cycles of their bodies, reminding them of the passage of time. Lo'ak and Kiri continued their charge towards adulthood, and even young Tuktirey grew a few inches, now as tall as Spider. Even Neytiri and Jake again felt these small changes, manifesting the call of their bodies, signaling the desire between the two partners to join with each other."
