Summary
Mickey is curious about Ian’s taste in men after meeting Ned for the first time. Then he learns something unexpected about Ian’s past in foster care that has him feeling a little protective.
OR
Mickey learns about how Ian was abused in foster care and makes the connection to Ian’s history of grooming from Kash/why he was going for Ned.
Mostly canon-compliant, but with added backstory. Inspired by Lip’s comment about the bathroom peephole in the car with CPS. I also just needed a little more explanation of Ian’s interest in old guys in the show, so I made up my own.
