Summary
It’s a disaster. There’s nothing for Eddie to do now but rip the Bandaid off.
“I’vebeenlookingatyourGooglehistory,” he says, all at once.
Buck blinks. “You’ve been what?”
“I’ve been—” Eddie breaks off with a huff, and then forces his eyes back up to Buck’s. “I went to the Google home page,” he starts again. “To search the thing about the coupling nut. But then when I clicked on the search bar, the recent history was not mine, because—”
A look of comprehension has begun to dawn on Buck’s face, suddenly.
“Because I was logged in on the iPad,” he says slowly.
- in other words: the slow-moving catastrophe of buck and eddie sharing a search history.

Summary
Bobby would like the record to state that he did not intend to be this much of an asshole about it. Quite frankly, it had been an unforeseeable turn of events completely out of his control as long as you ignored the fact he had done it on purpose and enjoyed every second of it. Because Bobby Nash was not a spiteful man. He could, however, be a very petty one.
---
The Buckley parents happen to be in town around Buck’s birthday, and they let something slip about his non-existent baby box. Bobby decides to do something about it.

Summary
“Okay, Buckley, you’re laughing a little too hard at that,” Eddie says, sounding offended. “You don’t think I’d be a good boyfriend?”
“I didn’t say -” Buck tries to defend himself, but Eddie barrels right through it.
“You saying I wouldn’t treat you right?” Eddie stands and puts his hands on his hips, because apparently it’s that serious. “Let me tell you something, Buck, I’d blow your mind.”
When Buck jokingly says he wouldn't date Eddie, Eddie sets out to prove he'd be an amazing boyfriend. Platonically, of course, because they're just best friends. And nothing more.
or, Buck and Eddie are both deeply in love and deeply stupid

“And you’re gonna do that, where? At the 133?” Buck avoids his gaze. “Or you’re just transferring to a random station where nobody knows you and you can pretend you’re fine?”
“I’m going to the 217,” Buck finally says.
“You’re…” Eddie starts, then scrunches up his nose in confusion. “Why would you even want to–”
Oh no.
Oh hell no.
“Are you fucking serious right now?”
Buck doesn’t say anything, doesn’t even look at him.
“Buck.”
“What.”
Breathe, breathe, brea-
“No, no fucking what. You know exactly what.”

"EDDIE! HI!,” Buck yells. Everyone in the room flinches. Buck clears his throat. “Um. Hi. Good morning,” he whispers. “Nice to see you both here today.”
“In our…kitchen?” Christopher asks.
“Exactly,” Buck agrees. “It’s a nice kitchen. And my favorite guys are in it. Just like…just like normal.”
“Okay,” Christopher shrugs. “I don’t remember you being this weird.”
Or, Buck and Eddie try to keep their new relationship a secret. It doesn't go well.

Summary
Eddie glances back up and finds Buck’s attention already fixed on him in the mirror. Buck smiles at him, eyes big and wide and sparkly, as he holds his hands up and asks-
“What do you think?”
Eddie’s gaze flickers between Buck’s eyes, and the blue, purple, and pink heart that’s been placed ever so carefully on his cheek, just beneath his left eye. It draws Eddie’s attention to Buck’s birthmark - to the lovely, pink angel kiss that he always wants to reach out and touch…to press his lips to. Buck looks so good that Eddie can’t keep it to himself.
(Or, Buck and Eddie get ready for pride together. Some confessions are made along the way.)

Summary
Eddie pressed his fingers to his temple, squeezing his eyes shut. It wasn’t a real kiss. It wasn’t. It was panic. Triage. A way to keep Buck conscious. That was all. People said and did all kinds of things in moments of trauma—things they didn’t mean, things that didn’t count.
It wasn’t what it looked like.
He hadn’t meant it.
Except… he had.
OR-
TL;DR Eddie kisses Buck to keep him alive. Unfortunately, it works. Now he has to deal with that.

Summary
Ravi looks faintly murderous. He’s also drunk, so he looks like a very pissed baby duck. Buck wisely doesn’t say that to him.
“I did not sit through a drunk forty minute Introduction to Evan Buckley: Everything You Need to Know in your absence for you to tell me he doesn’t like tequila,” Ravi scowls at Eddie. “Literally every time he’s dragged me out to drink we’ve had tequila! Because he loves tequila and hates the way beer tastes!”
“Ravi,” Buck says neutrally, but he’s trying to blow him up with his mind.
Ravi glares at him, and then understanding dawns upon his face. “Which I was not supposed to tell you about,” he blushes scarlet. “Point fifty-four. Right.”
— eddie finds out buck hates beer. buck suffers.

Eddie Diaz.
Ghosting bastard. Shirtless menace. Walking thirst trap.
Looks him dead in the eye and says “nice to meet you” like Buck doesn’t have the receipts. Like they didn’t match. Flirt. Make plans.
Like Buck didn’t get stood up in public, drink in hand, heart in pieces. -

Summary
Buck: are you awake?
Almost immediately, Eddie replies.
Eddie: What’s wrong? What do you need?
A burst of affection courses through Buck’s sleepy limbs and the corner of his mouth turns up.
Buck: bee won’t stop crying
Buck closes his eyes for a moment, sleep returning to him while the house has a moment of reprieve from Bee’s wailing. He doesn’t know how long he’s been dozing until another burst of crying startles Buck awake again. He blinks at his phone sleepily, still in his hand.
Eddie: Come over
-or-
Buck grapples with the stress of moving and Bobby’s death and finds himself at the one place where he feel’s safest — Eddie’s home.

Summary
No matter how much Buck insists it’s not a thing, it is so a thing.
It was a thing before Eddie left for El Paso, it was absolutely a thing the entire time he was gone—seriously? Four FaceTime calls in the first six hours of a shift, is he blind?—and through the whole Bobby’s dead-wait no Bobby’s alive? it had definitely been The Thing behind the thing.
So, sighing, and setting down the admittedly delicious grilled cheese Buck made, Ravi does something reckless.
Maybe a little dangerous.
But, actually, the tagline should read more like: selfless.
“I have an apartment,” He says to Buck, looking at him, and shrugging a shoulder. “I’ll ignore your credit and you can move in right after shift.”

Buck cleared his throat. “When can I leave?”
Eddie snorted fondly, and Tommy rolled his eyes. Buck was beginning to really dislike that guy. Why did Eddie even have to drag his–who was he to Eddie, his boyfriend? Why did Eddie’s boyfriend need to be here, anyway?
or:
Buck gets amnesia and cannot stand that man that is always hanging around Eddie.

Summary
“Buck.” He took a deep breath. “I want you to stay here.”
“Eddie, I already told you–” Buck’s voice was exasperated, tired.
“No. Buck, listen to me.” Eddie waited until Buck raised his eyes to meet his own. “I want you to stay. Long term, not just as a subletter or crashing on my couch or spending the night. Move in. Live here. Unpack your shit and throw away the boxes.”
Eddie decides to stay for Buck, and Buck decides to stay for Eddie.

Buck: How can you tell if a couch has been slept on??
Ravi: I think it was more the fact that it’s obvious two people have been sleeping in that bed

Chimney: I plead the fifth
Hen: That’s not how that works.
Buck: Why were you in our bedroom????

“What are you doing here? Are you feeling okay? I mean,” he pauses and gestures to Buck’s head. “Up there?”
“Yes,” Buck assures. “Well. No, but yes. I just need to say something to you. I need to say something and it might change things forever. No, it, uh, will definitely change things forever. But it’s just that you’re in my head, y’know? You’re just up here all the time and I… I guess, I just. Eddie… we need to talk.”
or, Buck gets sloppy drunk with Hen and decides this is the perfect time to go to Eddie and tell him he loves him. Perfect plan, no notes.

"No! I have to check." For Buck. I have to check for Buck.
"Eddie, you were looking the whole time we were in here. None of us have seen him." Hen's voice wavered for just a second, and Eddie had to fight to keep his own voice steady.
"I'm not done here. Let me finish, please." Eddie pleaded, cursing as the rock chipped against his fingers as he tried to break chunks apart with his hands.
