Summary
The last thing that Anne expected when she opened that music box was to be transported to a strange, alien world. Luckily, her friends, Sasha and Marcy, were transported right next to her. In fact, they arrived only a few feet away; and not, as one might expect, outside of a military installation and the heart of the capital, respectively.
Now, trapped deep in the jungles and swamps of Amphibia, Anne and her friends must brave the wilds in search of a way home, together. Anne isn't worried though. With Marcy's brains, Anne's strength, and Sasha's silver tongue, there's no challenge ahead that could break their bonds of friendship.

How could such a simple action tire her so much? Was it the fact that she didn’t have much energy left in the first place, or was it that with every excruciatingly loud step that could be heard from inside the house, the fog had slowly crept back to surround her? Or was it because when that normal damned door was finally open it cemented one of the many raging thoughts she prayed were fiction.
“Hey mom, I’m back.”
//When everything is said and done, how does one deal with the resulting emotions being stirred up inside of their mind? Just laugh them off, obviously.

“I’m glad we got to go on the date after so long. I hope you don't mind me saying that again,” Her arms go around Luz’s waist, and once her fingers begin to rub odd little patterns on her back, Luz’s grip on Amity loosens, “I’m so glad that everything is back to normal, that you’re safe, and that we’re still here to be able to do things like this.”
Luz smiles, a grin so wide unlike any other that she had let on her face previously.
“I’m happy, too.” Luz says quietly, the words coming out and dancing in the abyss of Amity’s ears, “So, so, so happy.”
