“Ideally?” Jimin asks, eyes roving very slowly from Taehyung’s neck to his lips to his eyes.
Taehyung hums.
“Ideally,” Jimin repeats, “that hotel a couple blocks down.”
“Ideally,” Taehyung echoes in a rough voice.
“Ideally, in the very near future. Ideally, with a beautiful stranger.”

Jimin takes Taehyung, an alluring hooker, home with the full belief that he will never see Taehyung again. There's only three problems.
1. Taehyung is not a hooker (and Jimin does not know this).
2. Jimin does see Taehyung again (and now they have to keep it a secret).

Summary
It’s the same old story each year, but like it is with any adult who has watched the Grinch steal Christmas every year since childhood, and feigns surprise when Cindy Lou Who warms his heart and makes him hyper aware of those finicky things called emotions, the same old story gets repetitive and tiring after a while. Soon, it becomes something you accept simply because it’s tradition, and switching things up after however many years would just feel like an act of deviance.
Taehyung has gotten used to his loneliness, and perhaps it’s too late for him to feel comfortable sharing his space with another.
