Chuuya carefully approached the package, crouching down in front of it while Dazai watched apprehensively from the top of the stairs.
“It‘s probably a trap, you know,” Dazai murmured.
Chuuya ignored him, reaching carefully into the box to search for a note or a sign that this could be a trap. Finding nothing, he gently picked up the bundle of blankets.
“Chuuya,” Dazai warned.
“It’s a baby,” Chuuya said, not taking his eyes off of the child in his arms.

"Je vais t'étriper comme le maquereau visqueux que tu es," Chuuya hissed, grip tightening on his collar as he yanked them closer. Like this, Dazai could smell the jasmine of his shampoo and see the anger swimming in his eyes. [“I'm gonna gut you like the slimy mackerel you are.”]
"Oh, Chuuya," he sighed, grinning like a fool. "I love it when you talk dirty to me."
Or, Dazai is convinced (forced) to join his friends for a year in Paris, and he doesn't know a word of French. Chuuya is just hoping to get through school without any strange encounters, and he doesn't know a word of Japanese. They collide (literally) and the situation devolves from there. They figure it out.

The incessant banging on his door continued. Dazai grumbled to himself about common courtesies, then shuffled across the dorm and swung open the door.
The sight punched the breath from his lungs.
Standing in the doorway, gripping the frame with one hand while the other clutched a haphazard handful of bloodied bandages to his stomach, was Nakahara Chuuya.
Or, Dazai receives a late-night visitor. Being partners comes just as easily as it used to.
