Summary
Yoshiki's heart hammers in his ribs. His body is tense, but his expression belies very little of his nerves. Sweat rolls down his cheek, towards the floor, some of his bangs stuck to his face.
"Ahh--really close," Hikaru observes quietly. Yoshiki shyly looks away, feeling...conflicted, again. Often.
He sometimes felt shadows of attraction to what he saw as Hikaru. Recently, he saw them as Hikaru's remains, piloted by whatever "unuki-sama" is. And now...
It feels...so deplorable, how he's starting to mix associations. Not the individuals, but the attraction. For a while, his desire had been dimmed quite a bit with the morbid knowledge of what stood before him... But as they've bonded, those feelings are resurfacing.
It makes Yoshiki feel sick.
Hikaru hovers closer, and Yoshiki closes his eyes, face flushed as he stays turned away...but he doesn't quite have the strength to fight Hikaru off.
"Yer bein' weird," Yoshiki says quietly.
"...Sorry for bein' weird," Hikaru responds, tilting his head, brushing his thumb across Yoshiki's cheek. His face subtly contorts with pain, and his thumb slips across Yoshiki's lips.
Yoshiki startles.
"...Are ya still scared'a me?"

Looking at Yoshiki the way he is right now, ‘Hikaru’ is certain he would never allow anyone else to see or do anything like this to him.
“Y'know, Yoshiki…you're mine, right? Ya wouldn't do this with anyone else?”
Something dark is laced in ‘Hikaru's’ voice, something uncanny.
“Never…don't worry. I don't think I could have what we have with…anyone.”
He swallows, knowing that there's no going back on his word.

'Hikaru' fears he will never understand the different ways humans love, but he wants to learn. Naturally, the best way to figure out his feelings is to take Yoshiki out on a date.

Summary
Yoshiki always thought he'd be more disgusted by the sweat and sounds, the mixing of fluids especially. But he finds himself already completely desensitized and is coming to terms with one fact:
He loves this.
He wants more, he wants to keep doing this with 'Hikaru' until he's so sullied that he becomes a new person entirely.
He wants to die and sink into hell for doing a horrible thing like this to his best friend's corpse.–
'Hikaru' and Yoshiki both yearn to be closer, to understand each other so they can leave behind everything else. On a hot summer day, they indulge in previously unexplored intimacy, but Yoshiki is haunted by his immense guilt.Bookmarked by skruffiie
