“Crowley,” Aziraphale murmured, almost too quietly to be heard. “I wanted to apologize.”
There was no response. Crowley figured if he did say something, it would be loud and angry enough to attract the attention of every human within his vicinity. From the corner of his eye, he watched Aziraphale wring his hands together nervously around a small bouquet of fresh flowers. He didn’t look too different from how he did before he left, aside from longer hair and an uncomfortable-looking gray-toned suit. What had Crowley expected? A Gabriel look alike? He shuddered at the thought.

She was gently interrupted by Percy’s warm arms enveloping her chilled skin. “S’okay, Wise Girl. Don’t worry about it.” Percy sank further into her embrace and rubbed patterns along her spine. “Do you want a shower?”
“Bath would be better,” Annabeth mumbled into his shoulder, pushing her wet braids out of her face. “Then I can sit down.”
“I can help,” Percy suggested, pressing a gentle kiss to her collarbone. “You should relax ‘n let me take care of you.”
“Alright.”
