“My spot face is serious,” Chan argues defensively, and his ears are starting to burn.
“Serious about what?” Changbin teases. “Admiring me?”

Summary
There, at the very end of the room, a stranger had met his gaze. A man, that stood out from everybody else, quite possibly because he was the most attractive person Chan had ever seen. His black hair fell partially into his face, he was wearing a navy suit that was tailored to perfection and the way he was holding himself was practically exuding self-confidence. He seemed almost magnetic in the way he drew people in.
For one short, horrible moment, Chan felt as if his knees might actually give out. He tried hard not to blush and averted his eyes instantly, but he still caught the smirk that played around the stranger’s lips. There was no doubt that he had seen the effect that the brief moment of eye contact had had on Chan.

Chan struggles to accept himself and his sexuality. He is thoroughly convinced that he is not deserving of love. Can Lee Minhyuk of all people change that?

Sometimes, the weather in Seoul gets so hot that the sidewalk starts to sizzle. When he’d been a little kid, Changbin had touched his bare, open palms to the ground out of curiosity and screamed when they blistered, so loudly that even strangers had come running.
Sin results in death. Eternal damnation. A million, scorching sidewalks.

Summary
“This is cool,” Changbin comments, squatting down to touch the petals of a large flower.
“Dunno what it is,” Chan shrugs, “Mum’s gotten really into gardening lately.”
“I’ve never seen anything like it,” Changbin keeps rubbing at the petals, fingers delicate.
It’s strange, the vibrant blotches of color. The long pollen covered strands that poke out from the center catch Chan's eye, make his nose twitch. "We should be careful with it."

The space between them feels familiar, curled close enough to close the gap. Chan a comma, Changbin a question mark.
They've never–they're not like that. It's not familiar; it's an illusion of familiarity.
Chan gets around, but he’s never gotten around to Changbin. Changbin tries not to let that bother him.
