“Homophobe,” Donghyuck said, pointing accusingly at him. “Is that rainbow pin on your apron just decoration? Are you not a barista with dyed hair and pronouns? Your gaydar SUUUCKS.”
“All you talk about is League of Legends!” Renjun said defensively. “I made a perfectly reasonable inference!”
“Never judge a book by its cover,” Donghyuck tutted. “League of Legends is not all I talk about. I play Rummikub too.”
“And you’re bad at both,” Mark said with a snicker, making Donghyuck gasp loudly and drawing a startled laugh out of Renjun.

Summary
Donghyuck opened his lunchbox, the smell of fried seasoned chicken wafting into the air. He picked up his chopsticks and began to dig in. “You know,” he said casually, “for someone who’s matched up quite a few people, it’s weird that you’re still single.”
“Coaches don’t play,” Doyoung replied smoothly, shrugging. “Besides, it’s not like you have anyone either.”
Jungwoo reached over to grab a piece of chicken from Donghyuck’s lunchbox with his hand and shoved it into his mouth, “Maybe you should match him next, Doyoung,” Jungwoo suggested through a mouthful.Donghyuck watched as Doyoung’s face lit up. He swore he could see literal sparkles in his eyes as he straightened his posture, animated. For a second, Donghyuck thought he looked like an excited bunny.
“That’s brilliant, Jungwoo!” Doyoung slapped Jungwoo’s shoulder a few times. Jungwoo flinched from the hit. “And I have the perfect candidate.” He gently patted Jungwoo’s shoulder now, as if to soothe the pain, “Mark.”

Mark Lee is a reporter by day and Spider-Man by necessity. A stolen neural chip drags him into a black market conspiracy, where he clashes with a new Deadpool who talks too much, fights too well, and might be stitched together from missing files and redacted names.
In a city where morality can be hacked, trust is the most dangerous weapon.

Summary
Fate is something inevitable. It doesn't matter how much you try to avoid it, whether you've given up and believe it will never happen, or whether you fight endlessly to make sure it doesn't. If something is written for you, one way or another, it's going to happen.
Even if it means crossing into another universe just to live it...
(Or maybe this is the story of how Donghyuck and Minhyung—or perhaps Mark and Haechan—fulfill their deepest desires, all at the hands of fate.)
