In Grace's opinion, dreaming about time traveling is no excuse for getting out of practice with his Eridian. To the rest of the Petrova Taskforce, it seems a bit odd that their resident Astrophage expert has suddenly taken to carrying a keyboard around and playing it whenever he speaks. Ren thinks about it. His life really couldn’t and shouldn’t revolve completely around the shadow world, he supposes. And he’s not obligated to do any more than this if acting doesn’t agree with him after all.
Ann’s going to freak. Futaba is going to lose her shit.
“You remember the Phantom Thieves of Hearts business a few years back?” The director asks. “It won’t be a complete one to one, but I do have to admit that this series’ plot is loosely based on it.”
Okay, now that’s just unfair. Now Ren has to take the role.
So that’s how Ren becomes a Featherman Ranger.
Or, Amamiya Ren becomes a Featherman actor, bases his character off Akechi, and the real Akechi Goro disastrously simps from afar.

Summary
Another visit from the Domestic Affairs Court threatens to tear the family of Leblanc apart when there's just a few too many hastily-drawn conclusions made about Ren's safety under Sojiro's guardianship.
None of it makes any sense, and yet everything the social workers say is completely logical. Information-driven counter-arguments, signed documents that should have taken days to acquire, it was all too perfect, too convenient- but how does a teenage criminal and a cafe owner defend themselves against the weight of the law?
