“I can tell,” Cody stated dryly, tapping a knuckle against one of the frames. “It’s impossible to type that fast. 900 words per minute? You don’t have that many fingers.”
“Oh, no, that one’s real.” Fox shuffled a few datapads around, the plastoid clinking and scuffing together. “Well, I did cheat a bit. I had Linkup hack into the chip in my brain so I can now connect to my personal datapad and impose my thoughts directly into a document.”
Cody paused.

Summary
Fox dies.
Except he doesn’t, because as soon as the creepy Sith ritual drains the last of the blood from his body, he wakes up…somewhere. Somewhere else, where, for once, he can’t feel the Emperor’s claws digging into his head every hour of the cycle.
Unfortunately, this somewhere else is so deep in the middle of nowhere that he gets picked up by a mandalorian—some asshole called Montross who quickly proves that he’d be more helpful dead, especially once Fox finds out that this shabuir wants to sell him off to the Kyr’tsad. In a final bid for freedom, Fox disposes of his would-be captor, commandeers his ship, and goes on the run from the man’s terrorist Kyr’tsad friends and his weird Haat Mando’ad coworkers.
…until the weird coworkers finally catch up to Fox.
Or: upon his death, Fox is thrown several decades into the past, lands in Mandalore’s backyard, gets himself adopted, and (mostly intentionally) alters the course of the galaxy.
Oh, and he isn’t the only vod to get tossed through time and space.

This is one of the fics dragging me further down the foxhole- RAHHH (affectionate)
The writing- Immaculate. I am in love, very much smitten.
Don't even get me started on the authors ability to write emotions and fights and EVERYTHING LIKE, GOOD HEAVENS ABOVE!?- I find myself absolutely absorbed in this fic, and I just adore it so much. This fic pulls at my heartstrings so lovingly, with such sweet cruelty; I turn into a beggar craving for just a few more sentences to feast upon. So uh, yeah. (Also I love the author's use of Mando'a and the little memes they put in their notes, they always make me giggle.)So to sum up, this fic is awesome, and if you want to cry really badly and also feel the suspense and adrenaline this fic never fails to deliver, I reccommend it.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this. Gobbled this up like an astronaut stranded in space with five minutes of oxygen left. Consumed this like a beggar who's been lost in Tattooine's dunes for days. Hoarding this like a Krayt dragon hoards a pile of the most precious treasures.

Cody fumbles his helmet off and tucks it under one arm, hovering mid-air in front of the tower’s balcony. He’s a professional, he reminds himself.
“Hi, I’m Cody,” he says, keeping his hands and shoulders relaxed; some of the captured royals can be a little skittish at first. “I’m here to rescue you.”
The man in the tower just laughs, and the sound is as delightful as his singing had been.
“Oh, that’s very kind,” the prince says, his madder blue eyes twinkling. “But I’m quite alright, thank you. Have a good day.”
