Summary
Charles's Xaviers school for Gifted Youngsters is a safe haven. A place for those who have been rejected, beaten down, thrown aside, to come together and create community. A place for the future of the mutants to grow up safe and loved and protected.
They aren't supposed to die.
So when Charles loses a student in an entirely unprovoked attack on the school, we get a glimpse into how he handles it. Spoiler alert- he doesn't really.
