And then he woke up, splayed in a field, draped in the tatters of Jayce’s blanket. A groan rose from his left, then some pitiful shuffling before a final, loud thump, accompanied by a slight warble.

Percy only knows a few things for certain about Vax’ildan: he’s good with daggers. He’s got a twin sister. He’s fast as lightning when he wants to be, good at fading away into the shadows, too.
He’s a thief, and probably an assassin to boot.
And he’s easily the most beautiful person Percy’s ever seen.
