Summary
When an unexpected outside threat suddenly appears and destabilizes Goro's plans, he's convinced the best course of action is keeping quiet. He's managed everything so far, why should this be any different? Unfortunately, he's fallen in with some of the nosiest teens in Tokyo, and when Akira discovers something is wrong, Goro's problems only double. Juggling school, work, revenge, betrayal, and a stalker is hard enough without trying to keep from falling in love with a boy who's destined to die in less than a month.
But someone is out for blood, and they won't be ignored.

Summary
“Excuse me,” Goro spoke up, trying not to startle the Shujin student. “Do you have a moment?”
The boy raised his gaze to look at him. Even without the big glasses, his long curly bangs would be covering half of his face. For a moment he just stared at Goro, then nodded, slowly.
“Ah, wonderful. Though considering what my business here is, it might not be so wonderful after all… Maybe I should introduce myself first though. I’m Akechi Goro, third year at Kosei High and an amateur detective.”
“...detective?”
“You’ve probably figured out why I’m here, right?” Goro smiled, trying to sound reassuring. “Don’t worry though, I’m not associated with the police. I’m an amateur after all. Would you be willing to answer a few questions?”
Goro is an amateur detective, trying to catch the Phantom Thieves without having any knowledge of the metaverse. Ren still finds him suspicious and decides to keep an eye on him though.

Summary
After three different surgeries and two bullets extracted from his chest that somehow didn't end his time on earth, he was lying on a hospital bed alone. It was then that he actually charged his phone. Once he turned it on, the only thing missing was the metaverse app.
He couldn’t decide whether he felt relieved or aggravated at its absence.
But before he could parse his feelings over that particular problem, a message came in. A message from the Phantom Thief group chat.
Which led to the present. Him still lying on a hospital bed and watching as chat messages rolled in. They were having a meaningless argument about cheese that morning.
He should remove himself from the chat. It was a waste of time. But he was bored. And he had nothing else to do. And it was strangely nice. It wasn't like anyone would find out he was reading these messages anyway.Bookmarked by soandmo

Akira looked at him and blinked."What?" He asked.

Summary
“Is my...tongue gone? Did they take my tongue out?” Akechi asks, his speech slurred and impeded by the cotton and swelling, but fully understandable nonetheless.
“Your tongue…? Uh, no, your tongue is still in your mouth. They took your wisdom teeth out, remember?”
Akechi stares at him suspiciously.
(Akechi gets his wisdom teeth removed. Ficlet.)
