Summary
Regulus Black has two obsessions.
1) Hating his older brother’s best friend, James Potter. Has Regulus met the man before now? No. But he has deemed James Potter his mortal enemy since he was ten years old.
2) A certain voice actor by the pseudonym Jay, who makes “spicy” audios.
Regulus has always known the universe to have a sick sense of humour but he didn’t know it was this cruel. He’d recognize that voice anywhere. To Regulus’s shock and abject horror, James Potter is Jay, there’s no doubt about it.

Summary
Regulus Black has been running for as long as he can remember—ever since he and his brother fled their oppressive family home at a young age, determined to make it on their own.
But the years have worn him down, and the weight of survival has turned his life into a blur of exhausting jobs, empty nights, and endless isolation. Now, Regulus drifts through life as a ghost, quietly working as a university library assistant and sneaking into Economics lectures, hoping that knowledge will offer him a way out of the past that still haunts him.
But when a certain professor hires him, Regulus meets his son James, his complete opposite, who craves to show him the beauty of connection.

A pretty angsty, but still fluffy story that simultaneously follows the past of Sirius and Reg running away and doing anything to survive, and the present, where Regulus is pretty much a cold son of a bitch and James is absolutely whipped and does the most heart-warming shit for him. Also ft. Fleamont being a paternal figure to Reg, which I adore :)
