But she knew how much the company had meant to her parents. Family, Duty, Honour. Her mothers words echo in her head as she considers his offer, not as easy to forget as Sansa herself seemed to be.

Flustered, Jon jogs the rest of the way and reaches the steps just as Sansa raises a hand to ring the buzzer.
“Hey,” he says, and she stops her motion. When she turns to him, Sansa’s eyes go wide.

Sansa remembered her father’s head on a spike, the tears she shed for her mother and dead brothers. What kind of gods would gift her that kind of nightmare?
“If they were truly dead, why would it be me greeting you in the between?” Lyanna whispered.
Sansa’s eyes widened at this. She looked back at the weirwood tree, and a soft lullaby echoes through the wind.

No one in her family had ever done this before. Her parents were true soulmates. Sansa hated to admit that she partially blamed them for giving her such high expectations of marriage and love. Her brother and his wife, Jeyne (Westerling), had just celebrated their twelfth wedding anniversary. None of her grandparents, aunts or uncles had ever been divorced. Sansa Stark was the first in her whole family to have this distinct honor. So there was no one she could ask for help or advice.
When she told her parents that she wanted to file first, Ned and Catelyn did what they did with all of their children when one of them came to them. They dove right in and helped the best they could. Googling divorce lawyers seemed to be the only thing they could do and from there, they read reviews because just like restaurants and hair salons, divorce lawyers were online-reviewed, too.

Touch with Jon is so strange, so dear. She feels it like a living thing, a physical thing - this need to feel him, to grab him, to touch him, always. To make sure he’s there; to feel him there. No matter how difficult it is with him, it is always such a relief to have him with her. It’s like she wants him to crawl beneath her skin, settle inside her; another heart, so similar and yet so starkly different, beating in sync with hers.
Her eyes are still closed as he continues: ‘’It’s you and me now. We have to trust each other. We can’t fight a war amongst ourselves. We have so many enemies now.’’ For a moment there is only silence then, until finally, Jon continues - finishes, she can tell - voice darker, deeper: ‘’Do not hide things from me again.’’
She sighs. Squeezes him a bit, just a bit; ‘’Listen to me.’’ he squeezes her back, so strong and yet so gentle. Contained. She longs to wrap herself around him.
They remain as they are.
