Summary
Jim Kirk is an Omega. Yeah, you heard that right. An Omega that's not allowed to enter into the Command Track in the Academy.
But if there's one thing Jim has learned to do since he was twelve, it's breaking the rules. And if tweaking an impossible test (seriously, he barely wrote two lines of code to change the stupid fucking thing) gets him up into space, fuck yeah he's gonna do it.
But there's one thing Jim wants more than anything.
A family.
A real life, batshit crazy family with all of the trappings involved. He wants it. And damn right he's gonna get it. But he's picky about which Alpha he chooses to screw, until he's standing in front of the Starfleet council after he gets caught ( Again, yes, you heard that right.) and he sees a sharp tongued, brilliant, logical zealot of a Vulcan, and an Alpha no less. And the rest, they said, is history. Now, Jim only has to convince the pointy-eared bastard that he wants a family too. Now, if only life weren't such a cunt he might actually stand a chance of getting everything he wanted.
It's Jim Kirk's time to raise hell, but hey, the universe owes it to him anyway.

Summary
Kirk and Bones are slowly starting to figure out whatever their relationship is when the Earth is hit with the news that Vulcan has just been destroyed; Starfleet has no choice but to get involved and take in the survivors. Kirk ends up meeting one of the Vulcans by chance. And then chance again. And again... A string of coincidences that suddenly have Kirk feeling like maybe there's something more to this.
-AU where Starfleet doesn't explore, it simply manages galactic affairs when necessary, so Kirk and Bones aren't a part of it--just normal dudes being gays. I don't know how to explain this better, it'll make sense, I promise. Also, the concept of bond mates is very much blown up in this because what can I say? I'm a sucker for fate. Also, rated mature for language and just to be safe!-

Summary
Spock needs more than a little convincing to join the Enterprise after the Narada incident. He's highly uncertain about his relationship with the Captain, who is supposed to be his dearest friend but is more akin to an awkward rival. However, as time goes on and he gets to know Kirk better and better, he starts to change his mind. He might be falling in love. Maybe.

Summary
Friendship is all Jim Kirk can expect from his First Officer, for a plethora of reasons. However much that might hurt, he’ll take whatever he can get, so long as Spock is in his life. But just at the moment that it seems even friendship might be too much to ask for, the two of them are gifted with a temporary responsibility that neither ever expected. A responsibility far more personal than ship and crew, and one that forces them together just as it seems like they are falling apart. Still, the clock is ticking, and as time goes by, the thought of letting go becomes an impending reality that feels impossible to bear.
In the end, they are only theirs to borrow.
