8 years after the death of Voldemort at the Battle of Hogwarts, Shacklebolt is dead and John Dawlish has become Minister of Magic. All was well until the Daily Prophet began a fear campaign around another dark magic uprising. With Wiggenweld also becoming exceptionally hard to come by, Peace and Order were the most prominent words being thrown around magical Britain. A year since the Battle of Hogwarts.
A select number of students from the class of '98 have been invited back for an honorary 8th year to complete their studies and prepare for the N.E.W.T.s
This invitation, while an honor, comes with a catch: In the spirit of rebirth and new beginnings, Hogwarts has instituted Phoenix House in the hopes that House pride will give students a chance to reconcile and heal. This House is exclusive to the 8th years, and those invited back have no choice but to join or decline the offer.
Planning to keep her head down and focus on classwork, Hermione has accepted admission to Hogwarts for a final year, but when her class is poisoned with a love potion that seems to have no cure and dangerous side-effects, she is tasked to work with Draco Malfoy to create an antidote and investigate who is behind the attacks.
As the investigation becomes murky, Hermione has to ask herself what is more dangerous: this love potion, or the secrets it unveils?

Summary
Five years after the war, Hermione Granger has very little time for something like a relationship. She's far too busy trying to run the Bureau for Endangered Creatures efficiently, dealing with budget cuts and ignorant ministry officials and finding a way to somehow restore her parents' memories, who are still in Australia and none the wiser about the existence of their daughter.
When she discovers that the Wizengamot plans to use Draco Malfoy as a scapegoat whilst dealing with elusive Voldemort loyalists, she offers to testify for him. She's not quite sure how it led to her trying on wedding dresses under the watchful eye of Narcissa Malfoy.
