    Summary

You don't know how long it's been.

The doppelganger's words still ring in your ears, even as you clutch tighter the scissors in your grip. The copy of your coworker's wristwatch died months ago. You don't even have the fucking luxury of a wristwatch in the first place.

How long have you been stuck in this elevator? How do you know it hasn't been months? Years? How can you know if anything has changed, if Earth has continued to spin, if anything is real but the four walls that surround you and the man who stands in front of you now?

But is he real? How can you tell?

You could stain your suit deeper. More scarlet. More warmth, liquid that flows from veins and onto fabric, scissors bending from the force of thrusts. Red scattering the ceiling and walls as your arms rise far above you. A warm body that struggles, slows, turns cold. You could. It would prove it.

    Summary

Your Friday night is an obvious conclusion from the moment that the new hire slams his hand on your desk, sending a file toppling to the floor.

Most of that project you were taking such precise care in now lays on the ground, likely knocked out of the meticulous order you had been placing the papers in. You give a tired look to the man responsible, whose smile only widens. His tie is loose around his neck and his hair pokes out in random strands from his ponytail, the glasses pushed up far on his nose proudly framing that devious glint in his eyes.

“So,” he starts, uncaring of the papers now scattered on the ground of your office and equally uncaring of your attempt to lean over and pick it up, “you. Me. Bar tonight. Yeah?”

(G4C prompt! opposite au cotag in which coworker gets drunk as hell and spills his heart out. he does it in a different language though because it can never be easy with him)
