The first thing Peter notices upon waking is that he is lying in a puddle and his clothes are wet; the second is that he has no idea where he is. The last thing he remembers is Mr. Stephen casting the spell that would make everyone forget who he was. The wizard hadn't said anything about teleportation.
With a heavy body and his heart pounding against his ribs, Peter slowly sits up, feeling as though he’d been run over by a bus and dragged for a good few kilometers.

Summary
Peter Parker died.
He'd lived through a fatal spider bite, the transformation that came from that bite, a shit ton of bullet, knife, explosion etc wounds, a building falling down on him. He'd also lived through a war on another planet, getting quite literally dusted out of existence, and then coming back to fight yet another war. And more, he'd lived through a betrayal of someone he trusted with his life, and lived through death threats, bricks thrown at his windows, temporary homelessness, and villains coming from different dimensions with the sole intention to kill him.
He'd lived through it all.
Until one day, he didn't.
Or,
Peter Parker falls through a portal during a fight
And dies.
Over and over again, before being saved by a man in a red helmet.
