There's a kid roaming around Gotham who looks eerily similar to one of their own. He has his nose, his smile, and his annoying ability of acrobatically removing himself from awkward situations.
So if the kid really is Dick's son, it only makes sense to bring him in, right? Peter's probably homeless, weirdly dusty, and yet strangely steadfast in his lie that his "guardian" is at home just asleep.
"He's just super tired from the trip. Passed out as soon as we got here actually. But he's at home waiting for me."
That has to be a lie. Right?

She stared up at him, breath caught in her chest, heart thudding. He looked furious, like he wanted to publicly humiliate her for doing something so shameless.
Her voice came out smaller than she intended, soft and shaky. “I didn’t mean for you to see.”
Bakugou’s nostrils flared. His jaw clenched so tight she swore she heard his teeth grind.
“You’re fuckin’ lucky I don’t kick your ass.”
But still, his thoughts betrayed him—
(Shit, I’m gonna be jerking off to this for weeks.)
She couldn’t breathe. The air between them was suffocating, thick with anger, lust, and shame. He leaned in closer, voice dropping to a hoarse whisper.
“If you’re gonna act like some weird-ass deviant in public, you better learn to hide it better, freak.”
Then, he stepped back. Like he hadn’t just torn open every inch of her composure, and left her there, breathless, trembling, and aching. His thoughts echoed behind him as he walked away.
