Summary
Lavender and Tan are two uni students that have been given the chance of a lifetime: intern spots at Mira, on their brand new mission!
But something about the job feels...off. The crewmates are always tense. The storage room is always locked. Sure, this isnt a mission to slack off, but after finding a mysterious note in navigation and deaths happening left and right, the two interns get stuck in a situation bigger than them, the captain, or the skeld itself..
AKA
Purple and Red leave notes on the ship for the future crewmates to find as MIRA takes cover to avoid a scandal.
A shapeshifter is involved and lots of creative liberty is taken.

Summary
An alternate universe with Red and Blue as the impostors. Nobody catches them until the very end: Blue is caught with Yellow's blood on their hands after the o2 sabotage, and Red gets cornered by Purple and Lime after the impostor tried to kill the engineer.
Purple knew Red had been acting too weird. They'd been too humble, tried to mend things, acted in ways Purple had only dreamed of in their wildest fantasies. But this…this stung. One betrayal wasn't enough, Red had screwed up again (even if It wasn't them, but a filthy impostor).
The last minutes on the skeld are…peaceful. As peaceful as you can be pointing a salt water gun at an alien anyways.
But of course, this is Purple we're talking about, and Purple in Fanfiction knows nothing but suffering.

Beside them, Maroon stared at their parent with a small squeak, barely acknowledging what they said. They glanced at the cart, then their little sibling, then the cart again.
Just before the group moved on, they pointed at the cart and huffed. “I wanna go in..”
Purple had already started pushing the cart down the produce aisle. “There’s not much room,” they said without looking up from the list.
Maroon pouted and tugged on Red’s pant leg. “Baba…” they motioned to the cart again, “I wanna go in.”
“Aye aye, captain!” Red reached down to pick them up, clearly not thinking this through.
