Summary
The firearm’s fastest draw speed is precisely 0.208 seconds— firearms, unlike spells, require no complicated wand movements, no powerful magical core. A trained sharpshooter could kill a small crowd in under a few seconds.
Still, wizards were smarter. Wizards had magic. Wizards had shields. No bullet would be able to penetrate those.
Of course, unless someone wanted them to.
Tom kind of really, really wanted them to.
Or, That one time Harry Potter became a magical cowboy, and that one time Tom Riddle became a pain in the goddamn ass. After all, Smith and Wesson makes all men equal.

Do you think we could…” He pauses. “Do you think we could love each other, in another universe?”

Summary
He looks at Percy, looks at his auburn red curls, looks at how they move and almost flicker underneath sunlight. Fire. Percy, he thinks, is rather like a fire, one that could warm even the darkest of hearts before it fluttered its eyes and began to consume.

Summary
UNDERGOING SERIOUS REVISION
He sees Tom’s face in slow-moving creeks, in his favourite flowers and food and in the robes that he has worn, that used to belong to Percy, but look more right on him. It is an affliction— the way his thoughts never truly empty of him, how he manages to think of Tom in the most mundane of activities.
He is in the middle of reading a book (Tom would hate it, it’s nothing more than a mundane fantasy) before he slams it shut and hurries his clothes on, tapping his foot impatiently as he waits for the train.
Percy needs to get it out— this bubbling, almost anxious feeling, even if it kills him.
