2. When life changes, it rarely does so gently.Killer has spent most of his life in the background—holding together the up-and-coming band he started with his best friend, keeping rhythm behind the drums, or staying busy in the kitchens of your school’s culinary program.
But one acting class assignment forces him into the spotlight.
And for the first time in a long while, someone is looking right at him.And this time, you don’t let him fade back into the background.

Summary
You’re a medical student at Corazon University, the kind of person who would happily stay in your room with your textbooks forever if you could. Unfortunately, there’s one person who’s been ruining your peace since middle school: Trafalgar D. Water Law. Quiet, terrifyingly smart, unfairly attractive… and your eternal academic nemesis. Years of racing to the top, petty victories, smug glances; neither of you has let a single win or loss go. Now you’re both at one of the top medical universities in the country… and somehow, he’s still everywhere.
When your class is sent on an academic excursion and everyone gets to pick their own partners, your “avoid all human interaction” lifestyle finally backfires. Everyone pairs off, leaving you with the only other hermit in the program: Trafalgar Law. Same room. Same space. And… one bed.
What starts as tense silence turns into stolen glances, suspiciously soft conversations, and somewhere between the bickering and his stupid pretty face… you might be developing a crush on the one person you swore you’d never like.
What could possibly go wrong? (˵ ¬ᴗ¬˵)
