🎃 Sam's POV. Dean never went back to get him. Dean marries Cas and lives with him Claire and Ben in the Bunker. They save monsters. I really liked this! Sam finds a new life and family because he was done with his past. I liked how it imagines an alternative to the story.

Summary
Written in third person with alternating POV of Dean & Cas.
Something's changed between Dean and Castiel. Dean asks Cas to take him along wherever it is the angel goes when he's not around the Winchesters. He's curious, that's all. No feelings involved. It'll be fun. Dean's ready for Cas to take the wheel on their adventure, but turns out some feelings aren't so easy to repress when it's just the two of you.
Cas needs some time alone. It's a heavy burden hearing Dean's longing like a constant prayer while Cas is trying to resist his own feelings. Now he's stuck in LA on a case that could have taken him minutes to solve, and Dean is very distracting. Why is it they can only let their guards down when faced with losing the other?

🎃 ahhhh I really enjoyed this fic, Cas can hear Dean's prayers for him, Dean won't admit that he is attracted to Cas. The writing in this fic is amazing!! Is also a case!fic bc Cas shows Dean what he does when he works alone.

Her words send Dean reeling, knocking the air out of him in a way strangers haven’t been able to do in a very long time. He can’t even find the words to correct her until she’s in the middle of another sentence.
