Summary
Despite how all three have adjusted well to each other and fallen into a surprisingly tight orbit after working out any... issues, everything isn't smooth sailing in Sparta. Menelaos, in particular, struggles with some of his own desires, and is only more confused seeing them reflected larger than life in his and Helen's lover. It certainly doesn't help him with Alexander clearly so perfectly comfortable in and with himself. It has to come to a head, eventually.

Summary
This a song you've heard before, but perhaps the Muses will tell you something new. So listen to the lament raised by the voices of the broken, the stolen, and the damned, for while the nine years of the war are neither the beginning nor the end, to those lives touched by it, they define everything.
In the second year at Troy, Anios' daughters are brought into the Achaean camp. Oino hopes their aid will ensure a swift victory for Helen's sake, her younger sisters mostly want to go home. But as months and then years pass, Oino and her sisters have to face not just the women of Tenedos who also live in the camp, but the heart will have its say, too. Convictions will be shaken and sympathies turned - but in the end, they are only girls, far from home.
In Troy, meanwhile, Helen watches as death begins to rip the Trojan royal family apart.

Summary
Nine years into the war sparked when a Trojan prince seduced the alpha queen of Sparta into leaving with him, even beta as he is, her aggrieved alpha husband is captured. No one would just accept an enemy alpha in their home, even less so when killing him could solve even more things than letting him live. But Priam is still willing to compromise, such as it is; either Helen puts her first husband through the change into an omega, or Menelaos dies. Either way the war will be ended.
The first option is, of course, taken, but after Menelaos crawls out on the other end of that trial, there's still the question of how this change will affect the relationship all three of them might now be able to have with each other. Menelaos would rather have put that question off for a bit, but the beginnings of an unexpectedly early first heat makes it imperative to deal with it.
If nothing else, he is certainly not going to be fucked by a beta, even if he now is an omega. Even less this particular beta.
But that being settled on, doesn't mean they can't come to a satisfying solution.

Menelaos knows he shouldn't like to do this. If he was forced, he could at least excuse himself, but his foreign guest is softly willing under his hands, and hard in his mouth. So Menelaos has no one but himself to blame for giving in.
That, and the fact that Alexander is beautiful. That surely should offer him some leeway.
