Summary
Jimmy completely misunderstood what he said to Bo at wrestling tryouts. Bo thinks Jimmy told him that he knew that Bo was gay, too. Jimmy thinks that he accidentally just came out to his bully. That miscommunication should not have led to them making out on the couch, or Bo ending up "cursed with the Mark of the Beast".
A kiss that didn't happen in movie - but could have - turns the entire story on a sharp left hand turn, and the awkward failure of a possessive wolf deciding that nothing will work so he'll just burn it down and start over, turns into a happy if a little messy pack, with a sire brought back, and his grumpy possessive mate coming to find them from Europe. All because of a kiss that should have happened, but didn't.

Summary
Rook was good at killing people - or spying on them, depending on what the job called for. What Rook wasn't great at was planning how to kill his own gods, deal with an ex-lover that will not take no for an answer, have another god in his head, and oh. Yeah. Spend time in an underwater prison where they literally shove a Demon of Vice into him. That was fun.
At least, though, he got to rescue the Demon of Vyrantium, who he might have watched with awe and a bit of a crush since he was thirteen, and he's working with capable people. Good people. They can do this.
If Elgar'nan would stop deciding that Rook and his sort of demon were excellent replacements for Falon'Din and Dirthamen. He's not a god, just a Crow.

So begins a fanfiction written by Jude Applegate about the untold story of what happened to Jessica Moore from Carver Edlund's Supernatural books after her death. A fanfic she doesn't really know why she's writing, and no matter how much she tries to control it, she has no idea why her characters most definitely have a mind of their own.
Jess rises from the grave, and sort of tumbles into the hunting lifestyle, which also seems to include the bed of a woman named Meg, then later, to tumble headlong into a relationship with a wiser hunter than she, a woman named Jo. And then an angel tells her why she's alive - to save the world... by saving Sam.
But it's just a fanfiction, right?
Until Chuck writes a scene in his most recent novel where Jess appears, and figures out exactly what is going on.

They were all on the Hunter-Gratzner for a reason. Xander Harris wanted to get out of the shadow of the Slayer and see the verse, Dean Winchester and his brother Sam were trying to track down their father on his vendetta to find their mother’s killer, Caleb Danvers was sent to bring balance to the verse, and Richard B. Riddick was a prisoner. They all came for different reasons, but they ended up in the same place – crash landed on a desert planet in the Hades system.
At first, surviving in the desert after a shipwreck seemed to be the only thing they had to worry about. There are other threats, though – a Blue Eyed Devil mercenary named Johns that wants to use them to trap his bounty, a crash that didn’t happen by chance, and a whole race of creatures living under the surface of the planet that is waiting for darkness to fall, so as to consume them.
