"Maybe, it's about that retreat thingy."
Samir narrowed his eyes at Paul Baker. He looked between him and Billie, who was sitting inconspicuously on the living room sofa, head leaning towards the kitchen.
"Paul Baker, no," the betrayal was evident in his tone. "Not you too, man. You're supposed to be the normal one."
"Issa roped me into it. But it sounds like a fun idea."
"Why, yes, PB! It does sound like a fun idea," Billie leaped off the sofa and bounded in between the two. "Who wouldn't want to bring their closest and oldest friend with them on a boring trip!"
"Maybe someone who would like to keep their job."
"Why would you lose your job. Samir, that's ridiculous."
"I'd be defrauding my employer."
"What? That's ridiculous! What would you be defrauding them of? Samir, they're making you pay for the trip…"
"Okay, well… then, Bills, you'd be defrauding me."

If Samir is Spider-Man, and Billie’s gooning, then who’s flying the plane?
After a near-death experience thwarted at the hands of New York City’s very own Spider-Man, Billie realizes that this is her golden opportunity to get her name out with real, honest, boots-the-house-down journalism. She could be the V of her G, and other than extremely reasonable butt-touching as he swings her to safety, she barely needs to get molested for it. All she has to do is take Spider-Man’s P.
His picture, that is.
Anything is better than focusing on the horrible tension since she hooked up with Samir, ruining what might be the very best thing in her life. If she needs to spend every waking moment thinking about Spider-Man instead, well, that’s probably a good thing – it’s about time she got serious about her career anyway, right?
But Billie has a very bad habit. An unbreakable habit with which she shares a friend group, a house, and a life. She should’ve seen it coming, honestly, with her luck.
Spider-Man is Samir, too.

“Maybe that’s my excuse then,” Sirius said. “I cause a bit of chaos now, and maybe one day, it’ll turn into rock and roll.”After losing his mother at age eleven, Remus has spent the better part of the last four years bouncing from school to school or else running around London and pretending as though he wasn't the kind of well-bred boy his father brought him up to be. Now, with his chances all run out, Remus is sent to Hawkings Independent School as a last-ditch effort to clean up his act. There he meets the very people who will set up the rest of his life, and is forced to confront the pieces of himself he'd long thought had been lost.
