Daniel’s got absolutely no idea how to reply to that. The normal canned responses—my pleasure, no problem, you’re welcome—would probably make him sound like a pervert. Which he is not. If anyone’s a pervert in this room, it’s the hot guy specifically hiring an escort—sorry, heat cycle relief provider—Daniel’s age, instead of just jerking off for a few days. “It’s my job,” Daniel says at last, shrugging in a way he hopes is casual.
Daniel signed up as a "cycle relief provider"—pseudo-medical sex worker—at Progress Clinical as part of a story. He didn't anticipate anyone would actually hire him. For better or for worse, Armand does. -
