akaashi was restless, and obviously so. kenma knew it from the way akaashi’s shoulders sagged and his eyes lacked their usual tenacity. akaashi always had a look in his eyes like he was thinking ahead, a stark contrast to the way they were now glazed over lifelessly. in that moment, it felt like he would rather do anything else than be here.
the more kenma watched akaashi, the more he wrestled between staying silent or attempting to say something to help.
staying silent was definitely the choice more familiar and comfortable to him, but at the same time, his boyfriend was in anguish before his eyes.and wasn’t that what boyfriends were supposed to do? care for each other through their hardships?

Summary
The entire world has it on video. Alex stumbling forward, straight into Henry’s shoulder, knocking him back into the table and then crumbling to the ground, the cake falling on top of them. Everyone thinks Alex was drunk, or that he hates him, or that he’s immature or unfit for his title, but none of it’s the truth. Everyone’s acting like it’s the end of the world regardless.
And maybe, for Alex, it kind of is.
