    Eddie hadn’t thought of wishing for a baby, he had barely heard of wish babies or soulmates, his parents didn’t believe in such things. Eddie desperately wanted a place for him and his son to belong, a family that would accept him without demanding that he change who he was to fit their impossibly unrealistic expectations.
