Summary
I am not getting with a man who broke criminals out of jail and has been harassing me for the better part of a year.
Giving in would validate every last one of the offenses he’d committed over the past year. Every purposefully ignored plea, every casually discarded rejection, every push beyond her boundaries would be vindicated, because hey, it’d worked, right? She could not, would not give him that satisfaction.
In which Alex and Ethan painfully and messily forge a healthy relationship, despite Ethan being Ethan.

Summary
In one reality, a half dozen mercenaries simultaneously opened fire.
Skitter was hit repeatedly, slamming back into the wooden wall behind her as the hail of bullets peppered her torso. As her body lifelessly slid down the wall to the floor, a swarm of insects emerged from the various crevices in her costume and haphazardly launched themselves towards his men. No matter. She was dead, and he could afford to have some fun now that he had a secure timeline. He grinned and turned his attention to the Skitter in front of him, gun still pointed at her chest.
“You bastard,” she snarled. He grinned. He opened his mouth to begin his speech, but—
In the other reality, Skitter limply raised a gun with a badly shaking hand and shot directly through the exterior wall of the house into his head.
The timeline collapsed.
What?
Calvert attempts to execute Skitter. Things don’t go according to plan.
Monarch 16.11, from Calvert’s point of view.

Summary
It's been six years since Marissa and the Travelers returned to Earth Aleph, four years since Gold Morning, one year since the nightmares had finally quieted down, and the feeling of safety was still a temperamental thing for her, to come and go as it pleased. It shamed her to admit it, but the easiest way to find it was still in the bottom of a glass.
That safety collapses around her the second she steps into an airport bar and sees Taylor Hebert sitting there.
