Dist has been rotting in a jail cell in Grand Chokmah for the better part of two months when Peony visits, informing him of Jade’s plan to provide energy for Auldrant after the halting of the Planet Storm. He soon finds himself embroiled in a quest he never expected: hunting down the six other aggregate sentiences alongside Jade in the hopes of securing their blessing. Between the sentiences, Order assassination attempts, and Jade himself, Dist isn’t sure he’ll survive—but he is nothing if not tenacious, and he has no intentions of dying any time soon.
