Summary
Elisabeth loses most of her sight in an accident when she was little and has lived in the library since.
Actually I didn't remember she wanted to be a warden in the book except when I reread the book summary. o-o
Anyways another warder-to-be arrives from another library and subsequently disappears with one of the most dangerous books in the library.
With the director out of commission, Elisabeth needs to apprehend her friend herself to prevent the director from taking the blame and try to unearth the deeper machinations behind even more incidents of magical destruction.

She was planning to do something a bit idiotic, yet again- well, it wasn’t nearly as bad as what she’d done in the past.
“Hermione?” a familiar voice called to her from the water-laden ground, leaves no doubt halfway to rotting. “Why, when I woke up to find you missing I didn’t expect that you’d taken up tree-climbing and bird-watching, my dear. Very quaint,” the dark figure of a woman said, and Hermione could hear the smile in her voice even though it was pitched dramatically, “Come down, would you?”
