Summary
Max wasn't really a sport guy, never had been (much to his father's dismay). But he had promised he would have gone to at least one of his friends' matches of the season, so there he was, watching what he assumed was the final match of the tournament.
Ah, the things he did for his friends. And, to be fair, they did promise to go to the concert that night with him if he showed up to the game.
Not that Max needed an emotional support or anything, but George had started to spot him during his performances. He couldn't have him thinking crazy stuff like that Max was there for him and not for the music, so Max had invited Charles and Carlos as well.
or: au where they all go to high school in the US. Oh, and Max is desperately in love with George. The fact they haven't spoken in eight months is just a small detail, nothing to worry about.

Summary
No. Lando decided. That is definitely not Oscar Piastri. Lando shook himself out of his reverie and continued eating his sandwich. When he looked up, Max was making his way towards their table, mystery man in tow.
“Hate that we’re all seeing each other again under these circumstances,” Max grimaced, “We thought we should come over and say hi."
Oscar Piastri steps out behind Max and all thoughts promptly rush out of Lando’s head.
OR: After a boarding school classmate's unexpected death, Lando finds his routine disrupted by the sudden reappearance of people from his past. When Oscar, an old classmate who feels both unfamiliar and frustratingly distant moves into his building, Lando is left grappling with unresolved history, attraction, and the sense that something about this whole ordeal they've found themselves in doesn’t quite add up. As the past lingers, Lando begins to realize that some stories from his Fairview Academy days are far from over.
