Summary
It is an undefined number of years into the future. Due to increasingly unstable environmental conditions, humanity has near-collectively jumped the proverbial ship that is Earth, choosing instead to seek refuge among the stars.
Damson-Fortwo is a manmade transformer, constructed largely in secret by a shady, off-branch of Kinetic Solutions Incorporated. Despite her human creators fleeing into space, she has been instructed to remain on Earth. Under the strict and careful watch of her supervisor, "Alice," Damson does her best to carry out the task assigned to her. Her job is to observe, document and measure the harmful levels of various oxides and dioxides and things not including the word 'oxide', that lead to humanity abandoning their home in the first place; all in the faint hope that one day, the conditions may be safe enough for their return.
It's a lonely, mundane, yet safe existence.
At least, it was until that thing in the sky showed up.
