Deku gets hit with a vampirism Quirk that forces him to feed from Katsuki, and it shatters the careful equilibrium they’ve maintained until now. Deku might be in love with him, but Katsuki refuses to give in on anything but his own terms. Everything is a fight with Katsuki, and love is no different.

“The CROWN PRINCE is getting married!” she squeals, and brandishes an ornate piece of parchment at him. She’s too busy having a fit to notice Katsuki stumbling mid-lunge, his sword tip almost eating dirt.
Deku. Deku’s getting married.

Summary
Katsuki knew that for all of Deku’s self-consciousness and doubts and anxiety, the two things within his control that he’d always had absolute belief in was one, to be a hero, and two, admire Bakugou Katsuki. He was probably the only one in the world who could have taken the weight of that admiration, and it says something that it still took him this long to accept it.
“But you were always going to be in my life. Constant pain in the ass, but. You always meant something to me.” A large part negative, a large part revelatory, always inevitable.
Or:
Katsuki might never understand Deku, but he'll always know him. And loving him was just a matter of growing up.

For years Katsuki has hidden the fact that he’s a bearer, someone capable of carrying children in a world on the brink of population collapse. He can’t afford exposure or risk his hero career, even his freedom, but then one moment of weakness leads to him bonding with Deku and everything comes crashing down. The only option is to run, and hope to high hell Deku wouldn't catch him.
But love… can be a vicious motivator.
