“Ready for one more trip together, love?”James’ eyes are flecked with gold under the sun, yet filled with a soft sadness. Regulus gazes into them, swaying slightly into James, wanting to fix whatever it is that’s making him sad, before he catches up to the conversation.
“Trip?” And then his bliss shatters, and he remembers. This isn’t real.
