Summary
Wallace wasn't about to just let Ruby be homeless. Not after everything that had happened, the kid had lost his father for fuck's sake. When Red finally manages to blink the dark spots out of his eyes, he’s not sure how long he’s been unconscious for. His body seems to weigh ten tonnes as he heaves himself up into a sitting position, groaning weakly. Time moves sluggishly as he blinks around at his surroundings which he’s sure weren’t so… well, blue before.
He squints furiously trying to see further than the ice covering everything within a few feet of him and–
He pauses. Ice?
Rubbing frantically at his eyes, he realises said ice is really covering everything around him and Viridian Forest has transformed into an impromptu winter wonderland.
