Pacific Rim AU: Jin and Malos are drift compatible. That would be fine, if it weren’t for two tiny little issues: 1) Jin has sworn to never enter a Jaeger again, after the loss of his co-pilot five years ago, and 2) Malos is an absolute dick. But the Kaiju war doesn't seem to care about these issues, and as Jin's relationship with Malos evolves, so does his view on life - a life that he is now wondering if he just might want to live after all.
