Summary
“Softly, Yatora places his hand upon Yotasuke, upon the curve where he breathes. He breathes as if he is scared, and Yatora can feel it, can feel Yotasuke’s lungs filling with quick, uneven gasps of air. The absolute humanness of Yotasuke is dizzying. His head spins, and, oh—he can’t help the gasp that slips past his lips when he feels the flutter of his heartbeat beneath his fingers, the way it trembles along with its enveloper. He can feel the way both hesitance and longing battle within Yotasuke as he arches into the touch—so slightly that he almost doesn’t register it. Now it is Yatora’s turn to tremble, for his breath to waver as he realizes that Yotasuke is offering himself to him. His hand travels up his chest further, making the rabbit shiver, and he thumbs the top button of his checkered shirt. Yotasuke jerks, as quick to startle as ever, and shifts his eyes toward Yatora, still too prideful to properly face the tiger whose fangs just barely graze his exposed neck.”

‘What are you thinking so hard about?’ Akiteru asks.
Tadashi wants him. Tadashi wants to be someone who can get to him, compel him to speak, force him into honesty. Tadashi wants one goddamn clue.
‘What are you thinking about?’

Tadashi would give anything to know. To learn what he looks like in Akiteru’s head. He would give anything for five seconds in there, to see himself, then bow back out and be ten times that image.
Thinking, how can I be more myself, more of everything, more good? Thinking, how can I blossom ahead of schedule?

Summary
Each careful, quiet word a green root through the soft earth of Osamu’s heart. Each smile a tight springtime bud exploding into bloom. No one’s ever given Osamu flowers before.
Miya Osamu, in pursuit: of the perfect cut of A5 Kobe-gyu. Of Akaashi Keiji. Of happiness.

yamabato you've done it again. omg i HATE OSAAKA I HATE THEM AND I HATE THIS AUUUMMGGGHHHH
-
The unspoken I’m sure of you that perpetually lingers in the air between them, there whenever either of them needs to reach for it.
-
Osamu takes a moment to look at him against the backdrop of the dining room’s sun-bright blond wood, paint-splattered jeans sagging off of his hips (they’re Osamu’s), sweater pushed up over his elbows (it’s Osamu’s, too).
-
Sakuradai, shimmering scales pink as new love. Fukinoto, clean, green springtime. A burst of color on the clean white center of a plate. I just came up with this. It’s 2 AM. I’m thinking about Akaashi Keiji. Everything’s singing, singing.
-
Osamu feels the weight of his love like a physical thing. His heart’s a gripping fist in his chest.
-
It’s hard work, cruel and grueling and so easy to fail, and thinking about it makes his heart race and his palms tingle like it’s something that he wants to chase. So he’s gonna.
-
“Kita-san,” Osamu says, once they’ve shucked their muddy boots in the genkan and settled at the low table in the center of the living room. His voice feels too loud as it cuts through the warm, serene air.
“Can I show you the ring?”
-
Atsumu’s known since that day at the festival; had laughed, then, rolling around in the grass and clutching his stomach at the way Osamu’d mumbled this is it for me, he’s it for me into the sleeve of his yukata, red-faced and mortified. It’s probably the only secret Atsumu’s ever kept.

Summary
Through him, Keiji realizes once they’re close, the dark looming shapes of the cliffs pressing closer as the road narrows between them. Miya hadn’t been staring at him at the train station; he was staring through him. Like he’d been trying to imagine the landscape back into place without Keiji interrupting it. Like Keiji wasn’t there at all.
On coming and going, and going.

Summary
“It’ll be my farm soon enough,” Shinsuke says, dropping his hands to his sides with a shrug. “My grandmother’s getting old, and my mother’s brother wants to move into the city within the next five years.”
Under the blanket, Aran drags his knuckles over the thin bones of Shinsuke’s wrist. The touch leaves as quickly as it comes. “Well, if it’s your farm, can I get an open invitation to visit?”
Shinsuke thinks about flowers, among other things.

Summary
At first, it’s funny.
It starts with a text that Tetsurou reads under the table during a meeting because, even three years after the grudging you’re tolerable (be still, Tetsurou’s heart) and three months after the out-of-nowhere I suppose I could tolerate you on a daily basis, depending on how many square feet we’re talking, a message from Kei feels too momentous to save it for his lunch break.
All it says is, I broke your favorite mug.

Summary
Or maybe it’s just the Argentinian national team shirt. In the dim, the blue could be mistaken for Seijou teal. Or the cobalt of Kitagawa Daiichi. Maybe that’s Oikawa’s cosmic trajectory, Hajime thinks—forever graduating from one shade of blue into the next.
In which Oikawa returns to Tokyo for the Olympics. In which it's been a while. In which the reunion is clumsy.Series

Summary
Atsumu de-seeds everything from watermelons to tomatoes for Kiyoomi — carefully, painstakingly, with the very tip of a teaspoon, or, whenever that won’t quite do the trick, with a toothpick — and the fact that Kiyoomi doesn’t actually need him to is his best-kept secret to date.
Or, Sakusa Kiyoomi vs. a public trash can, one memory at a time.
